Dull
& Uneven Skin.

Lack of luminosity is rarely a single problem — it's often a combination of dehydration, slower cell turnover, sun damage, and reduced micro-circulation. Treatment addresses the underlying causes rather than masking the surface.

Clinical overview

What we mean by "glow".

Skin that catches and reflects light evenly — "glow" — depends on three things: an intact, well-hydrated stratum corneum; healthy underlying dermal collagen and vasculature; and reasonably even surface pigmentation. When any of these fails, skin reads as dull.

Our treatment approach targets these factors directly: hydration via hyaluronic acid skinboosters, cellular regeneration via polynucleotide injections, and surface renewal via fractional laser resurfacing where appropriate.

Treatment options

Treatments most often used.

Hydrating Skinbooster
Hyaluronic acid microinjections delivered intradermally — improves hydration, suppleness, and surface luminosity over several sessions.

Polynucleotide Skin Booster (Rejuran®)
Polynucleotide injection supports cellular regeneration — used for overall skin quality improvement and "glow".

Thulium Fractional Laser (Lavieen®)
1927nm thulium laser delivers controlled fractional resurfacing — improves surface texture and overall skin clarity.

Picosecond Laser
Ultra-short laser pulses also brighten overall skin tone, particularly where dullness is partly pigment-driven.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

What causes dull skin?
Several factors: slower epidermal turnover (older corneocytes accumulate at the surface), dehydration, micro-circulation reduction, sun damage, and oxidative stress. Treatment addresses the underlying mechanism rather than just the surface appearance.
What's a skin booster?
A skin booster is an injectable that's deposited intradermally — into the skin itself rather than as filler for volume. They contain hyaluronic acid or polynucleotides and aim to improve overall skin quality (hydration, elasticity, glow) rather than to change facial shape.
How often are skin boosters repeated?
Initial protocols typically involve 2 to 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Maintenance is then every 4 to 6 months depending on the booster used and individual response.
