Bio-remodelling injection is a category of injectable treatment that uses a stabilised, high-concentration form of pure hyaluronic acid (HA). Unlike traditional dermal fillers, it is not designed to add volume or fill lines — instead, the product disperses beneath the skin to support tissue remodelling and hydration. At IVI, this service is delivered using a registered bio-remodelling product (Profhilo®), administered by an MOH-licensed doctor.
The product uses a thermally-bonded form of HA that has been shown in clinical studies to support collagen and elastin processes within the skin — contributing to improvements in skin tone, texture, and elasticity over a course of treatments.
The product is injected using the patented Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique — five specific injection points on each side of the face that maximise the spread of the HA through the skin tissue. The treatment takes approximately 15–20 minutes with minimal discomfort.
The standard protocol consists of 2 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart. Most patients see initial results within 2 weeks of the first session, with full results visible at 4 weeks after the second session.
After a full course of treatment, patients typically experience significantly improved skin hydration, a noticeable glow, firmer skin texture, and a reduction in fine lines. Many patients report that friends and family ask if they've "been on holiday" or "had a good night's sleep."
Results typically last 6 months. We recommend a maintenance session every 6 months to sustain the effects.
