A fractional radiofrequency microneedling device — commonly known by the brand Morpheus 8® — that combines fine microneedles with RF energy delivered into the deeper layers of the skin. Used for collagen remodelling, skin tightening, and texture refinement.
Fractional RF microneedling is a fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device by InMode that delivers RF energy deep into the dermis and subdermis through an array of gold-plated micro-needles. Unlike surface-only treatments, It can penetrate to a depth of up to 8mm, reaching the fibrous septa beneath the skin.
This depth triggers profound collagen and elastin remodelling, fat coagulation, and tissue contraction — producing results that combine the benefits of microneedling, RF skin tightening, and mild body contouring in a single treatment.
A topical anaesthetic cream is applied 45–60 minutes before the procedure to ensure comfort. The treatment itself takes 45–75 minutes depending on the number of areas treated. A single-use, sterile needle tip is used for each patient — it is never reused.
During treatment, the device is systematically passed over the skin in overlapping passes at different depths and energy levels, following a carefully planned protocol for each patient's anatomy and goals.
Fractional RF microneedling has a slightly longer downtime than some other treatments — most patients experience 2–5 days of redness, swelling, and mild skin texture changes (the "sandpaper" phase) before the skin settles. We provide a comprehensive aftercare kit and instructions.
Collagen remodelling continues for 3–6 months post-treatment. Most patients see significant improvement in skin firmness and texture from a single session, with optimal results after 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
