Our methodology

How treatment plans
are built at IVI.

Aesthetic outcomes are personal — and they are best discussed face-to-face, with your skin in front of your doctor. This page sets out how we approach assessment, planning, and review.

The protocol

Six steps, every patient.

01
Detailed medical assessment
Every first appointment includes a structured skin and facial assessment with one of our MOH-licensed doctors — covering medical history, current concerns, and your goals.
02
Education before any procedure
Before any treatment is recommended, your doctor will walk you through what's involved, what realistic outcomes look like for your skin, and what factors may influence the result.
03
Customised treatment plan
Treatment plans are built around your individual age, skin condition, lifestyle, timeline, and budget. We don't use a one-size-fits-all approach.
04
Structured review & follow-up
Most treatments include a scheduled follow-up review so your doctor can assess progress, document outcomes in your medical record, and adjust the plan where needed.
05
Outcomes documented in-clinic
Clinical photographs are taken and stored as part of your medical record — to support continuity of care and so that you can see your own progress over time during in-clinic reviews.
06
Long-term continuity
Aesthetic medicine is a longitudinal practice. We aim to build a long-term clinical relationship with each patient rather than focusing on individual sessions.
Why no before-and-after photos

Why our website doesn't show treatment photos.

Under the Singapore Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations and the Singapore Medical Council's Ethical Code & Ethical Guidelines, licensed clinics in Singapore are not permitted to use "before-and-after" or "after-only" treatment imagery in advertising materials — including websites and social media — as such imagery can create unrealistic expectations of what individual treatments may achieve.

During your in-clinic consultation, your doctor can show you relevant case examples and explain the range of outcomes that might be possible — in the context of your specific skin, history, and goals. That's the right setting for those conversations.
